FAQ: Troubleshooting MORE Reports
 

 
  How Do I Activate The MORE Report Generator In MicroBase Professional?
  • Obtain your MORE Report Generator Authorization Key from MORE Company.
  • Start MicroBase Pro
  • Click Help - Authorization - MORE Report License
  • Enter the License Owner exactly as shown on your license
  • Enter the Location-Facility exactly as shown on your license
  • Enter the Authorization Key exactly as shown on your license
  • Click OK to save the new Authorization Key info.
   What Is Needed In Order That MORE Reports Print Correctly?
  • The MORE Spectrum data must be properly collected with required frequency ranges and display units selected.
  • The MORE Spectrum data must be downloaded to MicroBase Pro and properly Identified.
  • The MORE Spectrum data must be printed using the MORE Report Generator
 

How can I make sure to collect my MORE Spectrum data properly?

Successful data collection for the MORE STC, requires that you check the prop balance and then collect three Spectrum Plots with the proper settings in your MicroVib II Aircraft Analyzer selected. Following are the data collection steps and the required MV2 settings:

  • All data collected with PT6M Group file loaded
  • Task: PROP BAL - Balance Prop using Factory Default Balance Settings
  • Task: MC-15K - Collect 15K CPM Spectrum Plot using Velocity Units (IN/S PK)
  • Task: MC-300K - Collect 300K CPM Spectrum Plot using Velocity Units (IN/S PK)
  • Task: MC-1200K - Collect 1200K CPM Spectrum Plot using Acceleration Units (G's PK)

Frequency ranges and display settings must be changed manually in the MicroVib II. To make sure you select the proper settings, we strongly recommend that you follow the AN-MV2-PT6M-CHK checklist.

  How do I download and properly identify my MORE Spectrum data?
  • To Download Raw Files follow the steps in MicroBase Professional Help - Using MicroBase - Using the Data Manager - Downloading Remote Files.
  • To Identify the Raw data follow the steps in MicroBase Professional Help - Using MicroBase - Identifying Raw Data Files.
  • 15K CPM Plots must be tagged with Group: PT6M and Task: MC-15K.
  • 300K CPM Plots must be tagged with Group: PT6M and Task: MC-300K.
  • 1200K CPM Plots must be tagged with Group: PT6M and Task: MC-1200K.
  • Component Model must contain the engine model beginning with "PT6A-".
  • Component S/N must contain the engine serial number beginning with "PCE", "PC", "P", "PR" or "RC". and followed by a hyphen or space.
  • Component Misc must contain PROP RPM: <xxxx> and NG SPEED: <xxxxx> for complete analysis by MORE Company.
